Looking For a Dead On Dupe for Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Liner Perversion?

Look no further. You can find it at your local CVS and its the Milani Liquif'eye Metallic Eye Liner in Black. Don't let the word "metallic" fool you because it is a matte, creamy, glossy, jet-black with no shimmer, almost identical to Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Perversion. Except for the Milani runs for about $7.99 while its Urban Decay counterpart is $19. Both liners are extremely black, the blackest of all blacks with a glossy finish. I tend to think the Milani is slightly softer and thus may need sharpened more often but other than that, they are so similar! Both glide on so easily, perfect for the waterline, and the staying power will make it a permanent fixture on your face for hours on end. I swatched both liners side by side with just a couple of swipes and it took major manpower to get them off my hand. They both put up an equal fight when trying to remove them with a baby wipe but it can be done with a little extra effort. I could tell no difference in color (photo below). They both go on very glossy and smooth and then after a few seconds, they dry to a very budge-proof finish. If you want to try to smudge them out, work fast! Milani doesn't have even a fraction of the color selection that Urban Decay boasts in their 24/7 line but they do have the basics and that is really all that most of us reach for on a daily basis anyway.

Nails of the Day: Sally Hansen Complete Manicure in Himalayan Blue

Himalayan Blue is part of the Tracy Reese for Sally Hansen collection. It's a bright and creamy opaque blue that has quickly become one of my favorite polishes. Some people do not like the wide brush that comes with these Sally polishes but I rather like it. It works perfectly for the shape of my nail beds and practically covers the whole nail with one flat stroke. When I paint my nails using this formula, I get a very neat and precise application every time. I never really thought there was anything special about the SH Complete Manicure polish formula but for some reason, this latest one that I have has applied better than any of my OPI, Essie, Deborah Lippmann, Butter London, etc. Next on my list is Green Tea.

Anyone Have Access to Catrice Products?

Hello to any of you international lovelies out there that can get their hands on some Catrice "Nude Rose" lipliner(s) for me in the US. Catrice is not sold in the US unfortunately. If you are located in an area of the world where Catrice is easily accessible to you and you would like to do a little swap with me, please comment below. I would be happy to make a purchase for you that would equal the price of what I'm looking for, and throw in a little something something extra for your kindness in helping a sister out.

According to their website, Catrice can be found in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland but not sure if they've expanded any further.

Sneak Peak: MAC Semi-Precious Collection Release July 7th

Ahh, I have died and gone to makeup heaven. Just now. I am looking at the MAC Semi-Precious collection photos while simultaneously trying to figure out how to make at least five purchases from it. Total Deja Vu, as I've been in this same position a number of times when MAC releases a collection that I am dying over. I haven't died this year over a MAC collection although I have been interested in a lipstick or two here and there. But Semi-Precious may just be the collection of the year. Its a big one, chalked full of all limited edition items like lipsticks, mineralize blushes and eyeshadows, Mineralize Skin Finish, and more. The new collection is all about the bling, beautiful sheens and rich vibrant colors. I haven't found any swatches yet but as soon as I do, I will post them. Until then, get your minds reeling and your money budgeted. Enjoy the photos that I could muster up for the time being.
